North Carolina hasn't always been my home. I moved to Cary with my husband after we both graduated from Shepherd University, a small school in West Virginia. Until college, I lived with my family in Morgantown, WV. My parents still live there and I visit often. I decided I wanted to be a teacher in the second grade. When I was a kid, playing school was one of my favorite things to do. My childhood dream has come true and this will be my fourth year teaching at Farmington Woods. Until this point, I taught the second grade. I am very excited for my move to the third grade this year! Not only do I teach kids like you, I also teach a yoga class for grown ups at Gold's Gym twice a week. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and reading . Most of all I love hanging out with my husband, Mason,and our two mischevious cats, Murphy and Myron.
